Its Raining, its pouring...

And this doggie's snoring! Not much to do today expect get cozy on my persons bed and sleep the day away. The girl stayed with me last night (my person had another business trip). Sure wish he didn't have to go away. It makes me sad. The girl let me out this morning and it was really raining. I didn't want to go, but I really had to (you know what I mean?) so I had no choice. It was a quick trip though, let me tell you. I really don't like getting wet in the rain. I think I will be careful not to drink much water today, so I don't have to go back out there. Ick!

Okay, well all this blogging has me tuckered out. Back to my bed!

Change of Scenery

My person left this morning... he fed me my breakfast and then he said goodbye. Well, it was only a little while later and the girl showed up. Thats fun! I was really excited to see her. She grabbed a bag (my person packed it) and we were off. I like her little car - it matches me, white and black. She took me to the girls house. Last time I came over here it was snowy, but how fun when I got here today that I learned the girl has all these little bushes leading to her porch. I had to smell every single one.

So now I am at the girls house. The girl bought me a couple new toys. They are great - I love them. I don't love the hard floors though - or the stairs. Its not like my persons house. We did (well, she did - and carried me) go down to the basement - theres not hard floors down there. Its cozy and I like it here. Very cozy couch too. I layed on the couch while the girl sat on the floor.

The girl and I went for a walk. I am getting so good at heeling and walking off my leash. I'm such a good boy. The girl calls me "Buddy". I like that! The girl told me that I am a hero. I'm not really certain what a hero is - but I guess it must be when you help other dogs find their way home. We were on our walk (very fun - new neighborhood = new smells!) and I was sitting waiting to cross the street (see, such a good boy!). The girl and I heard some yelling and then some barking and saw two dogs running towards us. One was a little bitty thing barking his brains out (annoying) but the other was a chocolate lab and we made friends. Then a bunch of people and cars came toward us and a lady was crying and so excited that the dogs had stopped running and were smelling me. She told me I was a good boy and the lab slobbered all over my face. The girl told me I was a hero. Because of me the dogs stopped running away and their owner was able to rescue them and put them in the car. So, I'm a hero!

Its been an exciting morning. I think I will go lay in the sunshine and take a rest.

Joe Cool!

Yeah, I'm giving Snoopy a run for his money. All I need know is my own little Woodstock.
