Dear Santa....

My person and the girl have been getting ready for Christmas. The girl put up a green thing with lights on it in the living room. Its looks like a tree outside (the kind I really like to mark) but the lights and the things hanging off it make it different. Plus, I don't think the girl or my person would be very happy if I marked on our Christmas tree.

This will be my first Christmas with my person. Its so exciting. I really haven't had really good Christmases in the past. My person told me I should ask Santa for some presents. I don't know about that....Does Santa bring presents and treats to doggies? Well, just in case, here is my Christmas Letter.

Dear Santa,
Hello. My name is Benson and I am a 2 year old Border Collie. I am a good dog and last winter I found my person and my fur-ever home. Its really been wonderful. I love my person so much. I am lucky to get a fur-ever home, lots of dogs like me never get one of those. The beginning of my life was a little lonely, but its definitely different now. My person loves me so much and I love him too! I have a nice warm home and a soft place to sleep and food to eat everyday. I even go for walks. Santa, I know I'm supposed to ask you for wishes for Christmas - but I really feel I already have all my wishes I need. So, my Christmas wish is this... Santa, if you could, please give a Christmas treat to dogs that don't have a fur-ever home yet. The shelters and rescues are filled with really good people that take care of dogs without a place to be so maybe they could use some support to help care for the doggies. Thats really all I want Santa. Thank you for reading my letter and if you helped me find my person and my fur-ever home last year, thank you.
Love, Benson

- The girl just read my letter (she has to help my post my blogs) and she said that she would give a Christmas donation to the rescue where I was found. She told me to add a few things that I might like besides donations to animal shelters. So I guess I should say, I really like bones (rawhide kind, flavored is always yummy). I really like stuffed toys that squeak too. Thats all!

Brave with a capital B! ..and that stands for Benson!

Yesterday was a big day. I went to the doctor. I usually don't mind going to the doctor, the ladies in the front are very nice and I get a treat (or two...). But yesterday, I needed shots! Ouch! And blood work..double OUCH! My person is so great. He held my head and kept whispering to me the whole time so I wouldn't be scared. He really loves me. I know it! I think it was actually harder on him than it was on me. But you see, I'm BRAVE! (not so sure about my person). After it was all done the doctor put on a bandage. I was a good boy and left it on til we got home.

The doctor says I have a minor ear infection. See, I already knew there was a problem, it just took me rubbing my face on the carpet until I started rubbing my hair off around me eye that my person and the girl clued in on my problem. But, thats okay. I am a really happy and playful boy so it was really hard for them to know anything was wrong. The doctor gave my person some medicine to put in my ears. I don't really like it.... I want to shake my head a lot after the drops go in and get them out of there. The girl gave me my medicine this morning and she wouldn't let me shake my head. I know its for my own good...but maybe I'm not the best patient.

Thats all for now. My person is putting stuff in that black square thing again so I think that means he's leaving. Rats! The girl is busy with a funny looking dead bird in the kitchen. She calls it a Turkey and tells me people are coming over tomorrow to eat it. We'll see about that.

Goodbye my friend...

My friend Bailey has gone to Heaven. It happened yesterday. The girl was very, very sad. She said that Bailey was part of her family for 14 years and really helped the girls mom through some really tough stuff. It makes me sad that Bailey is gone. It makes me sad that the girl is so sad. The girl says that Bailey is running free and playing with all the other dogs in Heaven. Maybe Bailey is even with the girls dad today.

Goodbye sweet Bailey.

SHOES!

I have an amazing skill. I can tell when my person or the girl are putting on their shoes. They could be on the other side of the house, or in their closets or anywhere... and I can hear them putting on those shoes. I love shoes. It doesn't matter if they are big shoes or little shoes or shoes that slap on the ground or my favorite "fast shoes" (the girl says they are rollerblades)... any kind of shoes - I love them. And do you know WHY??? Because shoes mean I'm going OUTSIDE! I'm going for a walk or to play. Going outside is so great. So many great smells and trees to mark... and it all starts with SHOES!

I don't need any - but my people do - so I make certain I hear that familiar sound of shoes going on, even when my person and the girl think they are being quiet. They are NO match for me! I got shoes skillz!

Indian Summer

Today was a beautiful day. It was so nice and warm outside. The girl and I went for a walk in the morning and then we worked around the house. I am very helpful, ask my person and the girl. I am always so helpful when they are doing stuff!

Later, the girl and I went for a car ride. I like being in the car. I didn't know where we were going but I trust the girl - I will go anywhere. Well, we went to the best place - DOG PARK! It was great. I ran and played and sniffed other dogs. I had the best time. Emma and Annie were there with their mama and the little kids. The little kids know my name. They are cute. The girls sister was there too - and she brought her new toy (I wasn't allowed to play with it). The girl says its a really nice camera and the girls sister took lots of pictures of me. I've gotta tell you - I think I look GOOD! I'm a handsome and strong boy. We had a great time! I even played on the equipment!!

Oh, when we got home, the girl and I made desserts. The girl says they are thank you's for our neighbors. She is going to deliver them later. I hope I get to go too.

Missing my person...

My person is in Korea. I miss him. This is me missing him...
From this place on the stairs, I can see the front door. Just sitting here waiting for my person to come home.

Movin' on up - to the East Side!

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't updated this blog in so long. I've been really busy. See, I moved! Thats a picture of me with the new house. Pretty great huh! Its the best and I can tell you why... First, both my person and the girl are here. We are a family and it makes me so happy. My person is still my favorite but I like the girl being with us all the time. She can scratch my butt like no one else - and I do love that! Secondly, I love the new house because I have new friends! Scooby lives next door, he is a chocolate lab and we are buddies. And then Turbo lives on the other side and he's a black lab. We have fun together. We run and play and bark. Its the best!

The new house is good - lots of carpet. I like carpet. There is also this long hallway and I love when my person plays "Stay Benson, then come find my person". Its the best game ever. I love running through the house looking for my person. I am so proud of myself when I find him. My person is always laughing and I can tell he loves me. Its our special game. I especially love to play it at night after he comes home late. Somehow the girl never wakes up, even though I have a hard time being quiet (my person isn't very quiet either).

I promise to write more soon. The girl is taking me for a walk now...and I'm not gonna pass up that chance.

Equal Opportunity Buddy

Good news! Last night the other kitty finally came upstairs to hang out with me. He is cute and fluffly. I like him. His name is Ari. The brave one is Oz. Ari has been so skiddish since I came to stay with the girl. Well, last night he made an appearance and the girl told him over and over that I am a good dog and just want to be friends. Well, now Ari is brave too. When we were all going to bed (yep, I sleep on the extra pillow on the girls bed - I like it best when I'm pushed right up against her), first Oz and then Ari both came up on the bed too! The girl kept saying "this place is a zoo"...but it was fun. I could tell she was happy. That makes me happy. Now we are all friends.

Dogs and cats, large or small, I don't care - I love them all!!

(The girl asked me to say that there is no picture because she was afraid the kittys would run away if she tried to get up. But we'll keep trying.)

Dogs and Cats

There really is a difference between cats and dogs. I'm with the girl...but not at her house. I'm at a house with two cats (although I've only seen one for just a minute). The brave one that checks me out all the time, stares at me then hisses. I don't get it! Strange creatures.

My person is away. I miss him. I also miss Angel and Diva at my other house. But the girl is fun... and she always makes sure I have the good food to eat. Yum!

So, I woke up with the sun this morning. I don't think the girl was really happy. She kept saying "Benson, this is earlier than I get up for work". But hey, like Will.i.am....It's a New Day! After I FINALLY got the girl to get moving, she took me on the best trip. We went to a park of just dogs. There were so many dogs... so many different kinds. Little dogs and barking dogs and yippy dogs and lazy dogs and hyper dogs and one HUGE Irish Wolfhound. That dog was so big! I had a great time. But now I am so worn out. The girl says its supposed to get cloudy and rainy later - and thats fine with me because I need a nap!

They say its my Birthday!!

Hello! Guess what? I didn't know if myself, but yesterday was my BIRTHDAY!! How fun! My person and the girl say that I am 2! They also say I'm 14 - so I'm not really sure which it is... but whatever, I got special treats!!! Yum! My person also took me for a bath and a hair cut. I look good! The girl says I smell really good too. They took a picture of me wearing my birthday hat - I'm so handsome!

Ch-ch-ch-CHANGES!

Hello everyone! I know its been a really long time (a dog gone long time, actually) since I used the computer. I've been so busy! I really like it now that the weather is nice out side. My person takes me for longer walks and even for runs. My person says I can run 3 miles in 27 minutes. Is that fast? I think it must be pretty good, because my person sure seems happy with me.

Lots of stuff has been happening and I've been a little confused lately. First, my person and I keep spending the night at the house where Angel and Diva live. They are my friends, I just love them. Those girls wear me out! We don't go to my persons house anymore. And my crate and bed isn't here. I sleep on a little bed in the basement with my person... its small, I wish he would scoot over at night - jeeze. My person and the girl tell me that we are getting a new house soon. Hmm, as long as I go too - I don't care where we go.

I've been a little scared too... my person calls them "fireworks" and tells me I'm okay, but man, I really hate those noises. Its so scary. I hope they end soon.

My life is pretty good. My person has a thing called a boat. Its loud and its fast. And I love it! :) The girl bought me a new yellow coat to wear - don't know why but I have to wear it on the boat. I go swimming in it. I like swimming. The water is cold and I get lots of attention from the people in the water. I'm a pretty lucky dog!

Get by with a little help from my friends...

Interesting day so far. My person left this morning with a bag, looks like he is traveling for business again. Only supposed to be one night, not too bad. My persons dad came over at lunch time to play. SO MUCH FUN! I really like him. He's goofy, just like my person. And he plays with me too. Today he taught me new tricks. I'm learning to catch and to beg pretty. I can't wait to show my person my new skillz!

The girl came over in the afternoon. We went to the store (I had to stay in the car) and then we came over to her house. I've been over here more often lately. I like it here. I'm even getting used to the hardwood floors. They're slippery and sometimes I forget I need to go slowly on the stairs. But the reason I like the girls house is because I have friends on all 3 sides of the backyard. The only trouble is there are fences so its hard to play. I went out looking for them when we first got here - but they're not outside right now. I will whine to the girl in a few minutes until she lets me outside to go check again! I've got her trained. I'm so good!

Its Raining, its pouring...

And this doggie's snoring! Not much to do today expect get cozy on my persons bed and sleep the day away. The girl stayed with me last night (my person had another business trip). Sure wish he didn't have to go away. It makes me sad. The girl let me out this morning and it was really raining. I didn't want to go, but I really had to (you know what I mean?) so I had no choice. It was a quick trip though, let me tell you. I really don't like getting wet in the rain. I think I will be careful not to drink much water today, so I don't have to go back out there. Ick!

Okay, well all this blogging has me tuckered out. Back to my bed!

Change of Scenery

My person left this morning... he fed me my breakfast and then he said goodbye. Well, it was only a little while later and the girl showed up. Thats fun! I was really excited to see her. She grabbed a bag (my person packed it) and we were off. I like her little car - it matches me, white and black. She took me to the girls house. Last time I came over here it was snowy, but how fun when I got here today that I learned the girl has all these little bushes leading to her porch. I had to smell every single one.

So now I am at the girls house. The girl bought me a couple new toys. They are great - I love them. I don't love the hard floors though - or the stairs. Its not like my persons house. We did (well, she did - and carried me) go down to the basement - theres not hard floors down there. Its cozy and I like it here. Very cozy couch too. I layed on the couch while the girl sat on the floor.

The girl and I went for a walk. I am getting so good at heeling and walking off my leash. I'm such a good boy. The girl calls me "Buddy". I like that! The girl told me that I am a hero. I'm not really certain what a hero is - but I guess it must be when you help other dogs find their way home. We were on our walk (very fun - new neighborhood = new smells!) and I was sitting waiting to cross the street (see, such a good boy!). The girl and I heard some yelling and then some barking and saw two dogs running towards us. One was a little bitty thing barking his brains out (annoying) but the other was a chocolate lab and we made friends. Then a bunch of people and cars came toward us and a lady was crying and so excited that the dogs had stopped running and were smelling me. She told me I was a good boy and the lab slobbered all over my face. The girl told me I was a hero. Because of me the dogs stopped running away and their owner was able to rescue them and put them in the car. So, I'm a hero!

Its been an exciting morning. I think I will go lay in the sunshine and take a rest.

Joe Cool!

Yeah, I'm giving Snoopy a run for his money. All I need know is my own little Woodstock.

GESUNDHEIT!

Bless you! Or actually, Bless me. Bless Benson! It turns out I have allergies. I didn't even know what allergies were until I found out I have them. My person took me to the place with the treat lady. I've told you about her before. I was a really good boy there, I wasn't scared at all...not even when my person lifted me up and put me on the shiny table. I was a good boy. The vet was very nice. I could tell she liked me a lot.

The other day my person and the girl were playing with me and the girl seemed a little concerned about my "bald patch". I've been really itchy lately and I've pulled out some of my fur on my hip. The girl was pretty unhappy about it and looked at it really closely for awhile. My person agreed to have it checked out. So, yup! I have allergies and am taking.... (just had to ask the girl what it is) Benedryl. Its funny though... I don't think I'm getting the medicine...I do get some yummy string cheese though. I have been pretty tired lately... I take extra naps!

I am so smart - SMRT!

I have some BIG news. I know I should have blogged about this when it happened, but I have been so busy with my person doing all kinds of fun things.

First, the BIG news: I am a Graduate! I passed my obedience class. My person and I got a certificate with our names on it! :) I also got a BLUE RIBBON! Thats pretty great. I feel pretty important. I'm so happy my person rescued me and is taking the time to make certain I'm a good boy. I want to be a good boy. And I am! I have a blue ribbon to prove it!

What else has been going on? Well, my person has been visiting the house where Angel and Diva live. I love Angel and Diva - they are my best friends. They look the same, but I look different. Most of the time when I am there, I lay in the garage with Diva (Angel doesn't like it out there) and we watch my person and Diva's person make lots of noise with tools. My person says they are rebuilding the boat engine. I don't know what a boat is, but it sure makes my person excited. I hope I learn what the boat is soon.

And what else, I have been doing great on my walks and my person has been taking me to a fun park. The park has lots of stuff to climb on and its really fun! I love it. I get to jump and run and climb. I don't like the green wave things that are all shiny. My person tells me "Benson, come down the slide" but I'm just not sure about that yet. Looks scary. I love the park though. My person and I have a good time together. And I hardly have to be on my leash. I'm getting so smart! Did you hear about my blue ribbon?!? :)

Packing and Guilty Looks

Looks like my person left again... he seemed sad this morning saying goodbye. We're really good buddies, I don't like it when he goes away. He told me this time it's only for one night though... thats not bad. Most not be "Korea" this time, because that was a LONG time. I guess the girl will be staying with me... my person didn't really say. Hmm... I figured I should update my blog before she gets here - I have a hunch she'll make me blog. I have lots of new stuff to share. Its been a busy time for me!

I have a cousin!!

Wow, so what a nice surprise. My person's papa came over to see me yesterday for a little while. How nice! He is pretty great! I can tell he loves me so much. And even more, my person's papa brought over my cousin Emmy! Emmy is a miniature Schnauzer. She's little...but has SO MUCH energy. We sniffed each other out for a few minutes, but then we were instant friends. My person's papa called us BFF. Don't know what BFF means...but I sure love Emmy. We played in the yard with my volleyball and we checked out the action on the street from the front door. The best part? Emmy brought me TREATS! I love TREATS! Emmy brought me 2 kinds of pup-peroni treats and some other yummy bites. I did not know Emmy was coming over or I would have made the girl go get her some little presents too. Next time!

It was really special having my person's papa come over. He can come anytime he wants. The girl let him keep a key I think. I was too tired last night from my fun afternoon to blog. I ate my dinner and then snoozed on the couch most of the evening. The girl and I played on the floor for a while... she kept saying it was our last night together. Hmmm? Don't really understand what the girl is talking about...but she did keep saying that my person is coming back today. I think today means this day?? I hope so!!! I will go crazy when my person returns. I should go take a nap RIGHT NOW to get ready! :)

Who let the dogs out?

Wow, so the girl and I just got home from our walk and there are SO many dogs in my neighborhood. Its nice outside today and lots of dogs were out playing in their backyards. In one yard there were 3 dogs! Wow, those dogs must have fun all together all the time. I love dogs but I can't understand why so many of them have to be so loud. Whats their problem? Don't they know I'd just like to sniff and say hello. The girl and I passed an old man picking up sticks. He asked the girl if he could say hello to me. The girl said yes and told me to sit. See, I am supposed to sit down before I get petted. Old man liked me a lot. I liked him too. I like the nice weather - lots of activity outside for me to check out.

And guess what? The girl said the Annie Mae may get a friend. I guess that Annie Mae's persons liked me so much, they want to get another doggie...and this one is like me. I heard he is 3 years old and is a mix of my breed and Bernese Mountain dog. His name is Riley. I hope Annie Mae gets her friend so I can meet him and he can be my friend too.

I hear my persons dad is coming over tomorrow. I can't wait. And then I think my person will be coming home too!! Yeah!

This house ain't big enough for the both of us!

Not the girl... the girl can stay anytime she wants (although not in place of my person). I like her. She dances around the house and I jump around. So fun.
But what I'm talking about is that annoying loud thing the girl was pushing around the floor. I mean seriously - are you kidding me?? I HATE that thing. I can feel the little hairs on the back of my...oh heck, I have little hairs everywhere. But you know what I mean.

Why did the girl have to bring that thing out? We were doing just fine without that darn thing. But no worries, I showed it who's BOSS! Yes sir-rey, I gave it the business. I'm so tough. Arf!!

Cause we are living in a digital world...

As far as a dog goes, I'm getting pretty technologically advanced. The girl has taught me to type my blog (you saw that picture) and now I am trying to get the hang of the blackberry (apparently, that is the name of the shiny black box that let me hear my persons voice the other day). The blackberry is much tougher though - those letter keys are so little. Very hard to do with my paws. But I did stand on the blackberry this morning and send a little love note to my person. It said...
Fj0n lyhjn

- Yeah, I need to keep practicing.

The girl said she got a message on the blackberry from Girls Aunt. Girls Aunt says I'm really cute and I look like a good boy. Wow! And Girls Aunt hasn't even met me yet. If shes anything like Girls Mom, I think I will love her! :)

Not much else new to report. I had fun rough housing with the girl last night outside. We played for a long time. It was dark outside but the big bright ball in the sky made it easy to see. There isn't much snow on the ground anymore...I see the green stuff. The girl says its grass. It smells good. But I shouldn't eat it.

I'm really missing my person. The girl says he has a really big day tomorrow but I just know he'll be great! He's my person so he's the best! I love him. I can't wait for my person to come home.

Sunday, February 8, 2009

It's treat city, and I'm the mayor!

I just got home from another adventure. First, the girl left but then came back. She was all dressed up, said she went to church. Is church in Korea? I still really want to know what Korea is and why my person is still there. Agh. Anyway, the girl played with me outside and then we went for a walk. I did good today!

Then we went in the car again, but only for a short ride. We went to the place where Girls Mom lives. Girls Mom has a doggie named Bailey. She is a siberian husky dog and is old. The girl says Bailey is 13 and I needed to be gentle. Bailey is a nice dog. We are friends now. Girls Mom really liked me a lot. She played with me on the floor and gave me so many treats. Girls Mom even sent me home with a whole bag full of new treats. I guess Bailey is too old to have some of those treats now. That makes me sad. I never want to be too old for treats. Girl brought my liver treats with us and we shared with Bailey. They are soft so Bailey liked those a lot.

Girls Mom has long nails and she gave me lots of nice rubs and stratches. So nice! I was in heaven. Girls Mom even showed the girl how to give me a nice puppy massage. I could have stayed there all day. What fun! I need a nap now from all the excitement. Its really bright again today and the girl has the heavy door open so I am going to go sleep on my back in the sunshine. Ahhh...this is living.

A Nice Little Saturday

Man, oh man. I'm tired! I can hardly keep my eyes open as I write this post. The girl wore me out today. First, just the two of us played in the morning. It is really warm outside...but also wet and muddy. I had to get my paws wiped alot! No fun.

Then I got to go for a ride with the girl in her car. Its smaller than my person's car...hard for me to get comfortable. But I liked it anyway. I met a new friend named Annie Mae. She is a Coon Hound and was fun to play with. She liked to bite my ears alot when we were outside. I was showing her how to play with the jolly ball (the girl brought it in the car) but Annie Mae wasn't very interested in it. But she was really interested in me. Her person gave me some treats and let me sit on the couch. Pretty great.

Next we went to the girls house. I climbed the stairs about a dozen times. Up and down, up and down. I'm so proud of myself...I used to be really scared of the steps. Not anymore. I'm a pro! Then while the girl was gathering more stuff and sticking it a polka dot bag, I heard a little giggle. It was Maggie. The girl said she is only 14 months old. She was really cute and loved me alot. I was THE BEST BOY ever with her. She's little you see, and I could hurt her. But I was so good. I let Maggie pet me and touch my nose and even pull my tail. She feel in my water dish and the girl had to dry Maggie's pants. It was funny. Diapers are silly and I tried to nibble at Maggie's just a little...oops!

Okay, so thats my day. We just got back to my person's house (he's STILL not here). I'm going to go take a nap, I'm pooped. I even feel asleep in the car on the way home. I hope the girl lets me rest awhile. Whew!

Long Distance Call

Last night was lots of fun. The girl stayed in...and I didn't have to go in my room AT ALL. The girl did leave for a little bit, but she must really think I'm a good boy because I didn't have to be in my room. She came back with some food...but not like I've seen before. She called it salad. I wasn't interested...didn't smell all that much.

We played outside for awhile...it wasn't as cold as it has been, so thats good. (I can handle it, but I don't think the girl can.) After we came inside, the girls little black thing started to make some noise. She pushed some buttons and GUESS WHAT?? It was my person!! I couldn't see him (which was really confusing) but I heard him call my name. I was so excited my tail was wagging in circles. He told me I was a good boy (I love that!) and he said he loved me. He is still out there and I know he's thinking of me! How great.

The girl watched what she called a "chick flick" and we cuddled on the couch. It was lots of fun. She pets me a lot and its cozy. She says that today I am going to meet a new friend. An adventure!! Yeah!

Heart Healthy

The girl took me on a nice walk this morning. Its bright outside. I visited the vet on my walk. I was a very good boy and sat down by the benches just like I was told. Treat lady came out and petted me and praised me. She told me that I am doing so good. I bet my person is proud to hear that. He works hard with me and now treat lady sees how good I am doing. She gaves me treats. I gave treat lady a high-five. I think treat lady really likes me. The girl got a little package from treat lady after I climbed on the black square. The girl says I weigh 47.2 lbs. Whats weigh mean? Oh well, the girl and treat lady said that was good! The girl and I left the vet and walked back to my house. The girl gave me string cheese. Yum! I love it. One bite was a little crunchy.. strange. But the girl told me good boy so I guess it was supposed to be crunchy. The girl said my heart is healthy. I bet its big too...because I have lots of new people in my world to love.

All the leaves are brown, and the sky is gray...I've been for a walk, on a winters day

Daydreaming about my person today...See our picture in the snow!! That was such a fun day. With some reminders from the girl, I know my person will come back soon...and then I hope my person takes me to play in the park again. See our cute picture? I belong to him. So happy!

Oh Yes Its Ladies Night...

Okay, so maybe visitor doesn't mean my person...but visitor is not so bad. Visitor brought me a little treat - yummy. The girl said it was gourmet bagel treat. I don't know what it was...but it was crunchy and tasty. So, visitor can come anytime.

Visitor and the girl ate some dinner and I was a really good boy. I didn't try to sniff the food or anything. They did have something called "wine"...and I was really interested in that. It was fun watching them try to get it open... its like me trying to get a treat out of my Kong...takes alot of effort! I kept trying to get a little sniff of the glass, but the girl and the visitor just laughed (and I think I saw that flashing light thing that my person is always doing to me).

Its been a fun night and I miss my person alot, but I am having fun getting attention and love from the girl and the visitor. The noises are different here tonight... the shiny, bright silver box that makes all sounds is much less "educational" tonight and much more "drama". The girl and the visitor seem to like it...whatever, I don't get it.

The girl says my person is going to be a "big deal" in Korea today. I'm proud of him. I miss him.

So you had a bad day...

Another day... hoped all day long that when the door opened to my room it would be my person. Nope. Its the girl again. She is okay, but its just not the same. We did go out and play in the backward and then we went for a walk. I don't think I was as good on my leash today because she had to tell me to "heel" alot. Sometimes learning is really hard. I forget. Its only been a little while since anyone has really cared to teach me though. So please be patient, I am really trying.

I scratched the girl when we got back from the walk. I didn't mean too...but she has a mark on her face. I feel bad. I know I hurt her...but I really didn't mean it. I hope she knows I didn't mean to hurt her.. I know she loves me.

So the girl keeps saying I am having a visitor tonight. What's a visitor? Is my person a visitor.. I hope so. But just like my home isn't Korea, I doubt the visitor is my person.

Korea?? Is that where they *EAT* my kind??

So the girl keeps saying my person is in Korea. Whats Korea? I don't really know...all I do know is that my home is not Korea because my person isn't here. The girl and I had fun last night... but I was a little mopey. I wanted to play rough in the house like I do with my person sometimes, but I think I was a little much for her. I ate all my dinner and my breakfast this morning too. That made her happy. Don't understand why the girl was so surprised - duh, I like my food! Silly girl. She didn't put me in my room last night...so for a while I slept on my person's bed. But then I went and slept on my Benson bed next to the thing that smells like my person. I stuck my nose right under it. Cozy.

I was pretty well behaved for the girl. She gives me lots of praise. I think she's surprised at how good I'm doing. Heck, I'M surprised at how good I'm doing. She took me for a ride in her car... lots of new smells! It was fun but I was a little nervous. Good thing we just drove around a little so I could get used to it, she didn't leave me by myself. I was relieved.

I'm still sad and miss my person, but the girl showed me a little black box thing this morning - it was bright and she said that my person told me he loves me and he is out there somewhere. Korea? Hmpf, I don't think I like that place too much. I'm gonna go pout for a little while.

Dawg Gone It!

My person is not here. I'm a little confused...he was darting around yesterday gathering stuff and sticking it in a square black thing. Today, he was extra nice to me in the morning and when he left he told me he loved me. He seemed a little sad. I am a little sad too. The girl that is around a bit (and was there the day my person picked me up) came over and let me out of my room. I'm in my home, so I know my person will be back. I just don't know when. The girl is nice though..she gives me lots of hugs and even took me for a walk. Its sunny today but really cold. I like eating the snow. We played with my blue jolly ball. I could tell she thinks I'm a good boy because she was laughing so much. I'm happy that she is here...but I am going to go look around my house for my person again...
